The Guardian is my favorite Bowtech hunting bow to date...........It's almost as quick as an Allegiance, has a little more mass weight, whisper quiet and no recoil. Points and shoots like a dream for a short bow.

I have to agree with Matt. I have shot all of the ones you said except theCommander, which is basically a guardian with a longer ATA and a little less speed. I really lovemy Guardian. It is a pretty smooth draw, relatively quick, and has almost zero vibration. It is so quiet too. The only one quieter is the General. It is a little smoother on the draw, believe it or not quieter than the Gaurdian, but has less speed. It also has a shorter ATA, which i didnt really like. The allegiance is faster than all of the ones listed, but has some vibration. The draw is pretty nice too.

Go shoot all of them and see what you like, and what feels the best. Also check out the Diamond Marquis. It is nice too!

I've owned 3 of your 4 choices Commander, Guardian and General.

I still own the Guardian. I didn't feel that the General was asnice a draw as my Guardian it felt more harsh to me. Alot of guys claim the General is smoother, but I didn't see it that way. I also didn't like the shorter ATA of the General. It is a great bow, just not for me. I sold it and bought a 101.

I'm thinking about buying an Allegience too.[&:]

I almost wish Bowtech didn't make so many great bows.
