For a turkey? You must be rich... or crazy

That must be the most expensive license per pound of game animal in North America!

Last I checked a couple of years back it was $350

It's starting to get to expensive to hunt other states now.

And its such a little bitty tag! Kentucky used to charge what ever your state of residency charged.
Seen more non residents there last year hunting than I did locals. The Old farm I used to care take of was striped and is now a game club.

I'm off to New Mexico Thursday for a 4 day turkey hunt. NR license with 2 tags is $130. Gas will run about $250, the condo we are renting is $275, add groceries and other entertainment costs for the wife and kid and it gets up there. BUT... Sharing a bowblind with my wife hoping to get a Merriam..... PRICELESS!
BTW, this is a public land hunt.

NC cost me $120 which got me 2 turkey tags, 6 deer tags. I figure it'll cost me around $225 bucks for gas round trip. Turkey hunting and meeting some great HNI folks, priceless!
