My girlfriend is guilt tripping me into going on a vacation with her and her family this summer. Problem is, i will have to miss the first 3 days of deer bow season. The season is 4 weeks long but im still bummed. Should i go or not?

We need more information to answer this one.
1) How old are you and your girlfriend?
2) Do her parents want to take you, or did she talk them into it?
3) How well do you know her parents?

If I were you I would back out of going on vacation with her family. You could tell her you want her father to respect you,& you do not want to intrude on there family vacation.

Then go hunting the first 3-days & skip the 4th day hunting.

Like stated above...if her parents invited you then do it and then you have a little power at a later time, but you need to convay in a nice way that your upset about giving up hunting.

BUT

If she had to convince them I would say dont do it. You will be under a hawk eye the whole time and thats no fun.

The woman in my life knows how important hunting is to me and would never ask me to miss any of the season I wanted to hunt. She also knows it would be futile to do so!

On the other hand 1st of the season is hardly important to me anymore. I stay out of my best spots until Rut kicks in.
