When I was a kid - my parents sent me tosome Hunting Camp called "Neverland Ranch" to explore my outdoorsy side. It was awesome, but the hunting wasn't so great.

Well this is half hour from my grandma's farm and this is just what the doc ordered for my 11 yr old.

perhaps you didn't realize just who was being hunted by whom.

Seriously though, this camp looks pretty interesting, and is quite a steal of one of my grand scheme ideas that I'd never have followed up on anyway.

Looks like a good deal this camp for kids! Its a good thing he is doing, some kids don't get the chance to experience the outdoors and this is a great chance at getting started!

Here's another link to a summer youth wildlife leadership camp in Texas for those of you with kids. In my mind, this is one of the best there is. This is a very intensive camp.Includesgoing through the complete anatomy of animals, lead by a veterinarian, including stomach contents. Alsofirearms training, hunter education, plant ID, conducting interviews, writing, etc. This is put on mainly by biologistsfrom various agenciesthroughout the area; all volunteer. I've heard that other states are interested in a similar educational experience. I've seen it change some kid's lives.
