Quiksilver and I were talking and I would like to know??
Have you ever had problems or experienced any problems with a light set-up? (ex. bow blow up, arrow blow up...) Just wandering I to am shooting light and fast like quik (not as fast as him nor as light) but I was just sitting here wondering. My bow is shooting great and Im on the minimum for arrow weight. I heard some guys say some arrows will fly erratic at times? I have not noticed. I think my bow is tuned real well and shooting great. I know alot of guys frown upon a light set-up.

Negative.
But then I haven't purposely pushed the envelope on weight.
I've had a heavy arrow blow up on me though. Not fun. [&:]

I have never had any issues, but I have seen some spectacular explosions during the mid to late 90's when everyone was pushing the light arrow, high draw weight envelope with hatchet cams for 3d.

Never had anything explode on me, but I did lose a pope and young buck in full velvet because of low poundage paired up with a bad shot.
Shoulder shot
+
low poundage
=
no recovery.
*as a side note; it's wOndering, not wAndering. I've seen this come up a few times recently.

I think he's talking about a light arrow, not light poundage. I thought my hunting arrow weighed 375 but after a weigh in at the shop yesterday.... 350grns. I guess you could say thats pretty light for a hunting arrow.
