any thought on a good place to set up on this property? it is hard to see them in this pic, but the property has 2 ponds. the road (Everet) is the top property line. the property i can hunt is below that road. thanks

Hard to explain, but more or less in the center of the property there seems to be an old clear cut or crop field that has grown up. I would concentrate on the inside corners of that on the down wind side. More than likely some deer will be bedding there so keep your impact and presence to a minimum. Could you put a marker on the ponds i can't find them. Another thing if there is a fence in the border between the large grown up field look for low spots where deer may cross.

Never mind the ponds i saw them. If they were a damn snake the would have bit me!!! The smaller one that is surrounded by trees could very well be a hot spot early in the season when the weather is warm. Mid-day would be a good time to sit there.
