Default Pope/Young Bow

Today I just about made a serious mistake in purchaseing a Fred Bear TRX from Cabelas.I' ve drooled over this bow for 6mos and found out that it has a 75% let off and is not adjustable. Since I am a trophy whitetail hunter, the way I understand the P/Y guidelines it cannot be no more than 65%. I saw only two bows made by Fred Bear/ Golden Eagle in the spring 2002 catolog that would meet P/Y standards.
I turned the page and saw Chuck Adams with a record brown bear, and the Reflex bow he shot it with is a 75% let-off. ???????????
Just a word guys, if you trophy hunt and want a p/y, better cheque the guidelines.

If you like the bow so much, don' t let the 75% letoff deter you.
I know for a fact that if you go to an authorized bear/jennings dealer he can order you a 65% let off module.
I know this because i had a buckmaster g-2 with pwc cam , and my local dealer had the 65% modules in stock.

bbahunter, I called the archery shop and you are absolutely right, they will make it 65% at no exta charge. I told them to order it and it will be here next week. I am getting the LH, 29" , 60-70# Package for the same price Cabelas wanted,... less $20.00 plus on postage and the shop will convert it for me for N.C.
The tech rep at Cabelas didnot know this and therefore, lost a sale. Thanks again bbahunter, I' m getting the Bow I want, OH BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY
