Default Needs Commendation - Re: gibblet

I'm realparticular about all my equipment so I convinced myself that I needed a new set of strings/cables from our very own gibblet. Long story short... In the end I realized that I was just being nit-picky so I PM'ed gibblet telling him I'd keep him in mind when the time was right. Instead of trying to push the sale, he offered this:

Quote:
not all hoyt strings are junk. if its not stretching, and you're not chasing your peep around, and the serving isn't coming apart - what more could you want? mine are faster, and better made, there is no doubt - but if you got a good set - shoot the life out of them.
This probably isn't even worth posting about if you ask some people but not me. Stuff like this is a breath offresh air, especially after someone sold me arrows that were severely over-spinned for my set-up. I couldn't give John a sale but I can at least give him this for being an honest business man. Maybe it will put some confidence in the minds of some who don't know John's reputation yet.

From what I heard, Gibblet is a great person. I'm sure he will be getting another customer in the future

He is truly a top-notch guy, and his product is just as good as the man backing it. My strings are great! I would recommend him to anyone.

From what I have been reading on here he seems like a great guy, and my next set of strings will most likely be from him.

I'm already dreaming of my next set from John! Pink/purple with floating yoke! That flo purple serving onstring...folks gonna remember me when shooting, not cause the shooting ability but string will make a statement and I'll pass his name down the line! The flo green and black is popular and gets alot of looks!
