Default help needed with video

Hey guys,

My family does a lot of videoing during hunting season. From the hunts themselves to when the family is just hanging out at the camp. Usually, we just compile all of the mini DVDs into one big one at the end of the season. What I'm looking for is a program where we can get a little more creative with the video...from things as simple as adding titles and music to the screens to having better transitions. Anyone have any reccomendations as to a computer program I can do this with? Thanks for any help.

Well, this all depends on what operating system you are using. My recommendation would be to go get a Mac and use iMovie that is pre-installed or if you want to get a little more creative, get Final Cut Express. You can't beat Mac and the software they have made available for nothing or for a minimal cost. The software is also very user friendly, anybody can get creative with it. All new macs also have Superdrive's which easily burn DVD's from iDVD which is another free program pre-installed. I switched from PC's 8 years ago and haven't looked back. I know hundreds of people that have switched and only 1 that has switched back to a PC

PM me...I'm a nut with video editting my hunts...You'll need a PC with at least a 1 Gig of Ram and a pretty good processor to get you rolling....I'll fill you in on the rest. Hope I can help

If you download the patches Pinnacle Studio video editting software will get you in the game.

Id try Vegas Studio. I got it for under 100 bucks, and it does more than I'll ever personally need as far as editing goes. Endless options for an ameteur.
