Default Oopps

Ok i let my brother practice drawing my bow, he is a jr in high school and an all-state football player (linebacker) so i assumed i'd be safe allowing him to do this. But what happens, he semi-dry fired it! He started to pull and only got maybe 1/3 drawn and he let go. I examined the bow, everything looks fine, i even drew it back a couple of times and things felt normal. My only concern however is one of the silencer popped off the cable. Should i be concerned and take it to the shop to be looked at or do you think i'm ok? Thanks
