Default 17 yard trad groups, bring on the turkeys!

Jeff's post got me fired up and I decided to take a few pics of todays shooting! I'm ready for the turkeys with my Longbow! I'm shooting about 48.5# at 27.5"DL with a total arrow weight of about 585grains. They are hitting pretty hard with the 200gr - 2 blade Magnus II's. Talk about watching a beautiful arrow fly thru the air and hit your mark! Priceless! All in all I still have some work to do, but I have 2 weeks until the opener if I'm not feeling it I take my fathers remington 1100 and hopefully kill a bird, this was the last gun he killed a bird with just weeks before he passed away! Just thought I'd share a good days shootin with ya'll!

My first 4 arrows of the day elevated at about 17ft and a distance of 17 yards!

Last 10 arrows, I hate shooting this many arrows but I can't help myself, I got a little tired at the end!

The arrows I'm shooting now, in the pics, are Carbon Express Heritage, with a wood grain type finish. I'm in the middle of building some Port Oxford Cedar arrows but I don't want to mess with my set up before Turkey season, I have it tuned pretty good with the carbons!

Good luck Rybo, I usually can't sleep for a week before the Bow opener but I am pretty fired up for this turkey season, 2 weeks, I can't wait. Good luck to ya!
