Default Never had this happen before.....have you?

I was out shooting earlier.

Shot one arrow into the target...pretty good shot....shot another in the same spot...and I hear a weird noise on contact. I walk up to the target expecting to see the shafts touching or possibly a busted nock, but I find this.....

I shot the blazer off my other arrow...weird huh? Ive never seen that happen before, have you?

I've never shot one completely off like that.

I've shaved them off and shot a hole through them, but I've never had one come off sideways. [&:]

I've done that once before. It was back before I started using stronger glue. Hang that blazer from your rearview mirror. The chicks dig it.

Same here. Shot a hole through mine for the first time a weeks back, but never took one off sideways.

Have shaved them off and shot a hole through but haven't ripped any off.. Maybe it wasn't glued very good and when the arrow hit made it come off?

Yea maybe it wasn't glued real good. I just started fletching my own arrows not to long ago so I wouldn't doubt it.

Oh well! Im off to fix it!I just thought it was kinda neat

It is neat! Just curious, what type of glue are you using? I've been using Bohning Instant Gel and I've had zero problems. Anyway, keep up the good shoootin'. http://www.mountain-archery.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1143& MMP=1013571550
