Default Frustrated At Bowtech!

Well my new Allegiance arrived today. Went to the pro shop to get it set up. The store was busy so the guy installed the accessories and sent me on my way. Before I left I went out back and fired a couple arrows. It shot okay for not being in tune. After I leave I notice the finish is not invelvet. Thinking I may have made a mistake and it is not offered on the Ally.

When I get it home I looked in the catalog and it is suppose to be invelvet as advertised. Not one to make waves I decide to leave it be. I take the bow outside and fire a few shots to begin my tune job. After about 12 arrows while at full draw I hear a cracking noise. I let up and look and the top limb justcracked!

Now I am not one to complain and I am fairly easy to get along with, but I am just a little upset at Bowtech right now. All I have heard about Bowtech is how great they are. This is my first Bowtech and with two strikes against them I am less than pleased.

I called the shop guy and told him about the limb first then the finish as not being as advertised. He said he will get some limbs coming Monday but not sure what he can do about the finish.

I know all bows have their problems. I am just upset thatI got it twice within a few hours. After spending over 800.00 I would hope that everything will be corrected.

Ed

If you have an issue....it's with your SHOP.

Period.

Get the finish you paid for. If you ordered a 2008.....DEMAND it.

There's NO in-between, here. DEMAND what you paid for.

Thats fine and dandy but the shop did not assemble the bow. It came from Bowtech that way. Why did they send out a new bow not as advertised?

GMMAT is right. You did not get the bow you purchsed. Your dealer needs to fix the entire issue to inlcude invelvet. If he does notcomply, then I would recommend you call Bowtech. You have a dealer issue not a manufacturer issue.

Who did you buy your bow from????? Bowtech??? Nope. You bought it from your shop.

THAT is where your issue is. Go back and DEMAND what you paid for.

The guy said he is going to do his best to fix the problem. I understand that things happen. I am just dissipointed in Bowtech. For being the top of the line bow maker you would think that they would not try to push last years product off on someone. Not to mention the limb breaking!

DITTO....DEMAND to get what you paid for...trust me Bowtech doesnt want their brand represented by ignorance. They should and will make it right for you one way or another if you put your foot down. Just be ready to put your happy go lucky face away when he starts himing and hawing.

This is absolutely ludicrous. I can tell you that Bowtech would LOVE to hear that one of their dealers was trying to pawn off an older model as a new one.

Your issue is with who you wrote the check to......NOT Bowtech. I'd say that if it was MAthews, Hoyt or Elite.

I can't understand why you can't see this.

Jeff, the bow just came in from Bowtech yesterday! The dealer did not have this bow in stock, it was ordered!
