Default Swift arrow got me thinking...

How many shots does it take to "wear a bow out" that is limbs need to be replaced??

Unless there was a flaw, I highly doubt you could wear out limbs.

That's good news, I was mostly worried about the string.

I thought that's what you may have been talking about. I would say 2-3 yrs for a factory string at best.

Thanks you. I like the factory string on it, I wonder what after market strings are comparable to it? Which brands do you think are the best?

A lot of it depends on how well you care for it and how much you shoot it. I had a Hoyt Ultratec for four years and the original string on it was dang near good as new. No doubt it settled a bit though.

As for aftermarket strings.... winners choice, vapor trail are the big two.
