Default Tried And Proven

I was responding to another post a little while ago and something interesting crossed my mind. Tried and proven items that I have used or still would use for hunting or in the woods. One thing is cat whiskers. They have been around for quite a while now and still work great. Other things are Muzzy broadheads, Bic lighter (even though I don't smoke) and a good ole compass.

What is some of the ones you all would use, or still use?
