As Darton being my 1st ever bow purchased and a Bear being my most recent bow purchased I'm partial to both! I would go with the bow that feels and shoot the best in your hands! JMO! Good luck bow shopping and have fun doin it!

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't like their Darton. People just don't complain about them.

My first bow was a bear, of course that was 10 years ago, and since I have been shooting darton's, I really like the CPS system and don't have any experience with the new CPS system. I was wanting to look at the new Darton for this year but there aren't any dealers in Texas anymore. I have loyalty to Darton and the CPS system but as suggested before you should put both bows in your hands and shoot them, and get the one that fits you the best(feels the best).Let me know what you think of the new Darton......I am curious, as I can't test drive one here in Texas....

Yeah I got a hold of them, they only do kids bows, said he would order me one but I would have to buy it first.....No test drive......I have two cyclones and a maverick....I really don't need a new one but just saw your first post and got me thinking......I was previously looking at the bowtechs and had made my mind up on the commander.....Saw one for sale on here, and bought it.....I now have 4 bows (when the bowtech arrives) and for the time being am out of the market for a new bow....It will be hard for me to not take one of the darton's hunting this year, Real Hard. Guess we'll see......
