Was just looking at Bass Pro's website to see if I was going to use a different Broadhead for Turkey and the Rage are now $40 for three - looks like all of the other heads have went up as well-

funny thing Rob, Just went back on the site and was looking at the RM Gator's they have the same cutting diameter as the rage but $10 cheaper as well- I think I am going to try the gators- 29.99

If consumers weren't such sheep - and didn't buy into the advertising - they would actually get what they pay for. But, it's proven year in, year out that marketing pays off - and we all foot the bill.
An enormous portion of your purchase price is directly related to their immense marketing budget. So, everytime you see an ad or a commercial for a product, be aware that you're paying for it at the checkout counter of your local sporting goods store.
You figure, a broadhead might cost $3 to make. But by the time you add-in marketing, profit for the manufacturer, profit for the middle man, and profit for the sporting goods store - you're looking at a $12 broadhead. LOL Sad, but that's the accepted practice.
This is a point that always falls on deaf ears... But... I'll continue to preach it.
