FYI, the 340 means ths spine deflection of the arrows is .340", which is a measure of the stiffness.
The 9.3 GPI is the weight of the shafts in grains. 9.3 grains per inch. To find the weight of your shafts you multiply the length of your cut shafts by 9.3 and you get a total weight in grains. Add to this the weight of the nock, fletching, insert, point, and wrap (if you use them) to reach a total arrow weight.

I bought some FX-3 last year, based on the price I thought I would try them, if nothing else for varmints. They really sucked...terrible assembly system and even worse flight. My Slick Tricks and Phantoms grouped right with my field points, and the cabelas heads were a good 8" off, not in any consistent direction either. Definitely priced cheap...but you get what you pay for.

Dont. There is a reason they are that cheap. The ferrules bend like copper wire and the blades are poor quality steel which looses its edge fast. I am a tightwad, thats why I tried them but they will not last nearly as long as most other heads on the market, even ones that are only slightly more expensive. They kill of course (I killed deer with them) but they bend like just about like butter when you hit bone.
Oh, and you should go with a larger head (probably 125 gr or larger if you want) because you have a relatively heavy arrow and you want to keep a decent FOC.
my draw length is 28 -29 i believe.. maybe 28.5
long arms.. like stretch armstrong.. so im guessing 125 gr BH because as someone stated before my arrows are heavy because they are long.. makes sense... so 125 it is?
and i WONT buy those cabelas craps.. enouf peeps on here says they suck.. thanks for all the info guys..
and especially BGFISHER for teaching me what that means on the arrow, very interesting.. thanks again.

As long as they are spined correctly to fit you it, it doens't matter which one you use depening it doesn't make you underspined with the heaver heads. Overspinedarrows can beok, and despite popular belief you can still get a overspined arrow to tune and fly strait. On the other hand underspined arrows are bad, very bad, and worst case scenerio you will be wearing your arrow in you forearm after you arrow broke in two upon being fired.
p.s. I agree with the above people about those broadheads. With arrows and broadheadsthe saying is true you get what you pay for. I see all the time archers will go all out on their bow and bow accessories, but then will want to go cheap with arrows and BH. Then they wonder why their expensive new bow can shoot worth a darn with their cheap arrows?
