Default Pendulum sights

Im really thinking of replacing my sights. I have Extreme sights now but an older model. I have seen alot of nicer, more illuminating sights than what I currently have. I am leaning toward the pendulum sights but I understand that 30 and 40 plus yd shots are less acurate but anything less than 25 is dead nuts on.

Whats the pros and cons? How much more difficult is it to recalculate on longer shots?
