Default Which glue for feathers

I just got my Right Helical clamp and Barred Feathers off MeanV , and my question is this :-

which glue should i use out of Loctite instant Adhesive or Saunders NPV Arrow Mate Cement ( the only two i have ) . If the Saunders how long sgould i leave each feather to dry ? .

Actually, I would use bohning's fletching tape. Quicker and holds better.

I've only used Fletch Tite Platinum and regular Fletch Tite with carbons and NEVER had a feather come off due to the adhesive not doing its job! As for the 2 you mentioned, I've never used so I really can't comment, sorry!

I've just been on youtube to check out the Fletching tape and was impressed .
So the Bohning fletching tape is that good huh ,think i will give it a try .

Don, I love fletch tape for feathers. It makes a very neat job! As far as Glues I prefer Fletch Tite Platinum.

The one thing I didn't like about NPV is it discolors pretty bad. Look nasty especially with White wraps or white feathers.

fletch tape is awesome, you will love it.

Since going to it, I've not lost a feather. Our indoor 3d places all kinds of branches and junk in front of the targets so I'd lose 2-3 fletches a night glancing off things. Haven't lost one yet since I've gone to tape.
