Default Are you "The Man" where you hunt?

Funny way of asking......Of the land you have access to.....who has killed the biggest deer (we'll say buck)off of it? You? Someone else (dad? Brother? friend?)? How big?

"The Man" where I hunt would actually be an 11 year old who dropped a 16 point about 3 years ago during youth season, if we are going by the biggest deer taken.

Where I hunt, it's my "big" brother. That man knows how to hunt. Also, at 6' 7" and 300 pounds, he's "The Man" in most other arenas as well.

I hunt my properties myself ...but I did take a freind and he shot a 130" 9 point on my one farm and the farmer got a piebald 5 point so they surpass the bucks i shot I got a few nice ones but nothing that scored! Now I got new property to hunt that is like a ZOO. So I will be the man there cause its for me only. Unless I take a buddy and he out hunts me!

I know my Father-in-law killed a 130ish 14 point on one tract I hunt.(killed rifle hunting) This was before I really got back into hunting after a 15 yr sabbatical.

Actually though, I don't really mind a friend, family member, neighbour, or whatever killing a nice buck off of my areas. I want everyone to enjoy to the fullest their hunt. Now poachers are a different story.[:@]

On my family land, I and definitely THE MAN! I have killed 9 different 8-points, brother dad...0. Not sure why, just have the lucky rabbit foot I guess. We've all hunted the same stands but they have never even SEEN an 8-point. Who knows.

Where I bowhunt in IL, defintely not the man. The landowner has taken many in the 150+ range, me...0. So, roles reversed in this area. One of these days...

I'm definitely bigger than the landowner by about 20" and 200 pounds, so if it ever comes to blows, he's done!
