Default Would You Agree That Confidence Plays a HUGE Part in Hunting Success????

Then why do we see so many people BASHING others:

Hunting Equipment (Broadheads, rests, bows, etc.)
Style of hunting
Places that they hunt
Weapons they use

Yaknow, it's not the straight out statements that kill me ..... although I wish they would stop ...... it's the sneaky, insinuations that happen ... like people aren't catching on to the subtle jabs ......

Bottom line ..... I think CONFIDENCE plays the biggest role in success ANYWHERE in life .... we are hunters here .... let's give eachother a break!

Preach, I agree that confidence is definitely an ingredient to success. Unfortunately, the bravado that comes with confidence brings on the bashing. Someone is confident that the way they do it is right, so if someone else has an opposing opinion you defend your position because you are confident that it is sound.

As far as the equipment stuff, that is just filler until the season starts. We have to talk about something right?

Yeah ..... I suppose it's the same old thing .....in order to elevate MY position, I will slam YOU down ...... it reeks of insecurity ..... I saw it in the Corporate world ..... I see it in the church .... I have seen it in my kids at times ....... even caught myself doing it ......AHHHHHH the pride of the flesh

Confidence is absolutely essential. W/out it, you wont stay on stand long, will be fidgety and uninterested. You also have to confident in knowing that when the opportunity does arrise, you won't miss.

Why do peopel care what kind of (_________) the next guy uses......especially enough to downtalk another product?

Why do people care how another man hunts......especially to the point of denigrating or belittling that person's methods or the naimals he hunts?

Why do people.....in the face of not having a leg to stand (logically)...or a vlaid point.....stoop to personal insults in the absence of said?

Lots of questions I'd like to see answered.

Pretty simple actually. Tony already touched on it......Insecurity, and a strong desire to fit in and be accepted. Rejection is a part of daily life anymore, and it's not natural. Not the way we were designed. All the bickering is, really.......Is the expression of that. There are many outlets for this. Drinking. Smoking. Drugs. Sex. Arguing. I suffer from it daily. DAILY. No one can escape it.

AHHHHHH, my truck just pulled in, I have work to go do. Catch ya'll later.
