Default Rule #1 Hunt where the Big Bucks Are.

White-tail Freaks on Outdoor ch.

Breaking down for you step by step to be successful, Let me add to my post by this: What are the top 4-5 states for big bucks? They were talking about how Lee & Tiff, and that Kisky guy moved to Iowa for deer hunting... would you move for a deer? Talk about some passoniate hunters. Kudos.

Do we still have people with problems about location? I mean come on 2 Families Moved because of it.

Seems elementary, doesn't it?

Why is this so hard to grasp?

I wouldn't move for whitetails, but I have been tempted to move where I can hunt elk, mule deer, bear, whitetails, antelope, sheep, mountain goats, moose, you get the idea. People who live in states like that are the smart ones IMO. Now if I could just convince my family to move

I've relocated in the past for Jobs, Lee and Tiff and Kisky's are no different. Gotta pay bills.

The Drury Brothers are from Missouri... They bought their farm in Iowa, Illinois, THEN Missouri.....

Location is the #1 factor without question.

You know, I love deer hunting, but I guess I'm not enough of a fanatic to understand what motivates some folks.I'll stay where the things that are truly important to me are. My friends... friends that I've known for decades. My mother, brothers and sisters. My older children that have moved out and are close. My "soon to be" grandchildren (yep, I'll be a grandpa next month). You folks can bag the big boys. I'll stick to the occasional lucky"decent" buck, filling my freezer with venison, sitting around the campfire with mysons, brother, nephews and close friendsand be happy with what I have.

Nope, I wouldn't move for deer, no matter how big they were.

Now that I understand. Maybe that's why I wouldn't consider moving if I could possibly avoid it. After a lifetime of moving from one duty station to another, I have a sincere appreciation for what it means to have your family close.

Hit the nail on the head. If whitetails pay the bills, then hell yeah I'm moving to where there are big ones. Not a lot of pros in Florida living on deer video. Have to be where they are.
