Default Help me pick my graduation gift

well i graduate high school this summer and my mom and dad would like to get me a new bow ( Parker Raptor XP )or the new double bull dark horse. here's some backround info. my bow is a 2004 Parker Buckhunter, i shoot good with it and i still like it. i always wanted a double bull, but i never could give up that money . i hunt on the ground only, i have one spot where i think it will be killer. whats your opinion.

Get a new bow.

There are cheaper options as far as blinds go, and they are still quality blinds.

That's my opinion.

Could not agree more. Once you have Ma and Pa good and souced, pop this idea on them....http://www.buyillinoisland.com/246Pi...ILdaninfo.html

I would take the bow, like Matt/TN said, there are plenty of great ground blinds out there with out the Double Bull price tag.

If you like your bow, keep it! Have them buy you a good tree stand & a safety harnes. If you hunt public land get a lone wolf & some steps, go light.

You could always get into Traditional hunting! Get yourself and nice Recurve or Longbow and change it up every once in a while.... just another option!

as much as we all like the idea of getting our parents drunk at strip clubs, I'd take the bow if I was choosing between only those two options. However, as was said, if you like your current bow, maybe look into something else for the money, climber stand, decoys, hunting clothes, lifetime supply of "Gum O Flage", whatever you might need more than a new bow. But I'd agree to spend less on a blind than you would for a double bull.
