deer hit by cars

I have never hit one but i come across plenty of people who have. Have you or a family memberever had a collision with a deer?

I was on a bus with the football team one time and we hit a buck though

One when I was a kid, and one on the team bus on the way to a game. Now that deer was hamburger by the time it came out from under the rear bumper.

Im not answering because as soon as i do you know whats gonna happen[]... lots of close calls though. I almost hit one on a four wheeler before.

I have hit two, killing one instantly...I called my boss, told her I was going to be one hour late to work...I took the buck home, skinned him and hung him up. I could only use one side of the deer as the other was torn up. I felt that was the least I could do for hitting him.

We dont have problems with collisions as much as we used to now that we have had liberal doe harvests for over a decade.. I've been in vehicles that hit 3, all were over 12 years ago....

Between me and my wife, last year alone we hit three between December 4 and Jan 21st.(The wife hit a nice 2.5 yr old 9 point. She made me take her back to cut the rack off) 2 years before that I took out a doe with an old Dakota. Completely broke the deer into two pieces. That was crazy. I didn't even spill my coffee on my way turkey hunting when I hit that one.

I just hit one Sunday Night actually. Christmas night 2006 I hit two at the same time.

Every year one of us will hit one.Or should I say the deer hit one of us.They seem to always run into the side of our cars.The funny thing is they never jump out in front of me when Im in the truck.THEY HATE CARS .THATS IT!!
