Default Bow case for airline travel?

I am looking for the best bow case on the market for airline travel. I looked at SKB thinking they were the best on the market? What a huge let down, the one I would have considered was broken during shipping. NOT a good selling point for SKB. I also noticed the SKB cases seem to be much cheaper built these days. Does SKB make two lines of bow cases? The ones I looked at were not good quality at all. The plastic is very thin & the inside offered very little if any protection.

Please help me out guys & gals, I need a good bow case that the airport gorillia's can not break.

Thanks,

WK

You could stash some explosives or somedrugs in your case, they will not touch it, I'm sure....

I have always used SKB. The 4114 I have currentlyis built like a tank, and not only is the case guaranteed, but your equipment is covered up to $1,000 I believe. The Freedom case from SKB is not as tough, but I don't think it was ever intended for Airline travel although it can serve a purpose very well. Not sure which model you saw broke.

I've had my SKB double bow/rifle case all over the country for years with out any damage but I'd steer clear of the SKB Freedom cases.

Im going with the SKB double bow/rifle case. Cant beat a 1500 contents warranty either.

IMO they are built like a tank, especially for a plastic case.

I wasn't sure on the $$amount. I doubt I will ever have to collect, but $1500 is even better

Take a peak @ the Vanguard cases as well. SUPER case, double locks and stout.

Never had any problems with my SKB. Flown several times and it's still in tact.

I use the Plano BowMax Pilar-Lok and it travels like a charm. With TONS of storage room and its a great price too.
