Default Albino turkeys?? typical?(Updated W/ Pic)

I was delivering the mail Sat. when approaching a mailbox i happen to look over into they're back yard to see a group of turkeys, one being albino. I took a pic with my cell, but Idont have a usb right now or a card in it either. I talked to the guy that regularly runs the route, and he said he had seen a gang of turkeys(25-30) another road over, and some of them were white, and other mixed colors. just wondering if thats typical. there not tame, because he stated they flew and ran everywhere when he went by... so i dunno much about turkeys, is that normal?

Not typical at all. I think at least in PA, more rare than albino deer. Of course there can be white turkeys that are not albino, same as deer.

Most claim demostics mixed into the wilds.

And let me say, i use the term albino loosly, this turkey had more white than any other color, but i didnt get to look real good an they wasnt exactly close either, the pic i have on my cell, you can just basically see the contours and colors of a turkey, ill try to get the picup sometime.

I have seen them around hereI think they are mostly a cross with a domestic turkey.

i would have to say a "pure" albino would be very rare...but any half white / half black kind of turk's are not.....i have not seen a LOT of them in CA, but i would not say that they are rare by any means
