The brace height is measured from the deepest part of the grip to the string with the bow at rest.

The longer the brace the more forgiving the bow is.

Also with short brace heights the arrow is on the string longer and more prone to hand torque but gives more speed.

Back of the shelf too string. Less that 7" the faster the bow, generaly. Higher than 7", the more forgiving, generaly.

Your Truth 2 has the 7 " Im sure you knowtho.. that is a very fast bow, my buddy shoots 313 fps @ 72# 355 gr arrow
