Well, IMO, that depends. What's in it for you? I say, protect your spots.

Nothing other than some promotional stuff. They also offered up an out of state turkey hunt.

What are the stipulations, what kind of game are you hunting, and can you fit it into your schedule??? Is it one of those "hunt of a lifetime" type of hunts that you wouldn't be going on otherwise??? I think you are the only one that can really make that decision. Not really much to be "puzzled" about, especially if it's something you can swing, and want to do. If not, then a very appreciative "No thanks," is the only way to go. There are some "celeb. hunters" I'd like to hunt with, and some that I wouldn't care what the hunt was, I'd still say "No thanks." Congrats on being contacted, hearing what you do for the DAV in your area, makes you sound like a pretty "Stand-up" guy, it must be pretty rewarding to be helping those guys out like that!!

Real similar to Hunsucker but not him. Nothing in it for me and I can swing it due to my seasonal layoff. The problem I have is who are the clowns they want to bring in and are they going to come back year after year.
