Default General weight?

Quick question...what is the bare weight of the General? Could not find it on the website.

if i recall correctly, over on Huntersfriend.com they have the genreal listed at around 4.2lbs

(at work some sites are restricted here)

I think the weight is 4.5 lbs if I am correct.

That's what I recall as well; 4.2 lbs. (Boat anchor!)

That's funny right there, Boat anchor. What's that Hoyt weigh in that avatar? Hell the difference can be made up in accessories. Complete bow the General doesn't weigh any more than the 10 Hoyt's I've shot in the past.

I agree, my new general is POUNDS less than my Hoyt.

I can see the arguement with lugging around an 8 or 9 lb rifle, but most bowhunters use a treestand to hunt out of and don't carry the bow around all day. Sorry but when I see guys carry on about bow weight it makes me laugh.
