Default Allegiance and Bowtech bow weights?

How does the Allegiance (smooth cams) compare to the Guardian as far as smoothness and quietness? I was thinking about switching but not sure if it would be a downgrade.

Also, does anyone have a list of the weight of all the Bowtech bows? I don't know why they don't list it.

I cannot speak for the 08 Allegiance yet as I have not shot one. I can compare the Guardian to my 06 Allegiance and the Guardian is much quieter and smoother on the shot. The weights have to be comparable and I would not consider a move from the Guardian to the Allegiance a downgrade, more a move across the board. The two bows, other than riser design are similiar in my book.

I think the General is about 4.2 and the Ally is about 3.8 lbs. Probably (at least partially) explains why the General is more quiet and more "dead" in the hand at the shot. But it also explains while I'll never own a General; don't need to haul a boat anchor into the mountains with me every day.

Take a look around the Huntersfriend.com site, thinking it is under compound bows, pretty good listing of a variety of bows and types. Not pushing the site outside of a quick reference for stats and such.......

Can't say for the new models, but the 06-07 were really close. Shot them both a lot before I bought the Guardian. If you get the draw length set right on the Alligence it is really rock solid at full draw. I really liked it, but went with the Guradian.
