Default Southeast michigan Bowhunters.

Hi I am New to the state and fairly new to hunting. Just wondering what counties everyone hunts and what your success is. If you have any tips or tricks or descent areas let me know thanks!

I have hunted SE MI for 23 years, it's a bonus to live close to Ohio

There are a lot of deer in SE MI, just not a lot of spots to hunt. Good Luck

I am also in SE Michigan. Have hunted Jackson, Calhoun, and Hillsdale counties for the last20 years. Unfortunately, access to private land is getting much more difficult to come by. In fact, I am having difficulty finding aspot this year due to the sale of property by the farmer that I knew well.[:@] Good luck and PM me if you have any additional questions.

P.S. Or anyone else can PM me if they have a lead on access in southern MI

I have hunted Lenawee county for the past two seasons because i go to school at Adrian College. There are a lot of deer up here but not quite the number of mature bucks i am used to seeing at home on my farm in ohio. Germ, Cowboy and Kingfish are right access to private land is few and far between but the deer are there if you can find some where to hunt.

I hunt in Howell and Ingham...we have private land and the past few years we have been only shooting 8s and bigger in hopes to get some bigger deer to come. I see tons of deer every year and I get a few and spend the rest of the season trying to keep them on our land and others out too.
