Default What bow?

I want to begin bow hunting, but I don't know anything about what bow will give me the most "bang" for the buck. I have about 200-350$ to spend. What is the best "starter bow". I don't mind useing any type of bow as long as it will kill a deer.

If you can find a Bear Instinct that is a great bow. Do you have 350 spend on a bow bare or total 350$ for all accesories?

I don't know where you're at, but if you're close to a cabela's store, the PSE FireFlight 33 is a pretty decent starter bow with everything that comes with it (including some arrows) that you can usually find on sale for 280 or so. The Bear Instincts are excellent bows too for the price (around 400 for the bow last time I checked). If you have any bowshops that you trust close by go ask them about used bows, they'll have lots of people coming in to buy new bows who are probably looking at getting rid of thier old ones. I picked up a 1 year old BowTech Extreme VFT a few years ago for $350.

Go to Ebay, you can find a Fred Bear Instinct for $360 for a full package new and still in the box. Best deal you can find.

Bow. I am willing to spend that much on a bow. I will not be hunting bow this or maybe next season so I can practice.
