With all things being equal, such as food type and food supply, doe population, soil conditions, size of ranch, predator lossesand deer harvested/killed per year
Harvest conditions would be different, though.
RANCH #1........ The only bucks that could beharvested on this ranch would be small racked deer. Deer thathad 4 or more points per side and a spread of 15 inches would be off limits.
Ranch #2....... The only bucks that could be harvested on this ranch would be deer that carried a rack with at least 4 points per side and a spread of at least 15 inches. All deer with less than 4 points per side and spreads smaller than 15 inches would be off limits.
After 7 years, which ranch would have the largest racked bucks?
I'd say #1 would have the biggest bucks right now, eventually, you would kill off all little bucks, if you over hunted it. In the long, long run, the #2 would have more big bucks, but would not be as big as #1, I think, correct me if Im wrong.

Killing deer according to antler size alone I'd bet that bothranches would be pretty equal after 7 years.
