When Im watching a deer video, I always seem to fast forward or skip the gun kills. I don't have anything against gun hunting, in fact, my best buck this year I killed with a gun, but I just simply don't like watching those hunts on dvd, I love to watch the bowhunts, just not the gun hunts., it's something about watching a deer killed in bow range that does it for me.

Not me, but the funny part is that about 15 years ago, before I got in to bow hunting, I used to fast forward past the bow hunts. Its hard to believe that back then, I couldnt even stand the thought of bow hunting.

To answer your question I don't watch whitetail rifle hunts either. The onlywhitetail deer hunts I liketo watch are on public land, openrange, orbig ranch (fair chase) bowhunts with out game feeders around. Furthermore being totaly honest I get tired of all the whiteail deer hunts. I realise that is the most hunted big game animal in North America but it would be nice to see more mule deer, antelope, bear and of course my favorite beingElk.

I do the same, I skip right past the shows with gun hunts on them. With the rare exception you find a guy hunting with a flintlock but the only one I have ever seen do this was Bob Foulkrod. And when the guys are hunting with traditional equipment I really stop to watch.
