Default Morrel's

All of this shed hunting has got me thinking about a mess of mushrooms it won't be long. This was from an early trip last year with my daughter.

I've been picking emevery spring for years. They're the easiest to identify, only one other mushroom that's toxic even resembles it, and nothing else comes up in the spring. Go to Morel Mania on the web and it has a lot on info on the subject. BTW they go great with turkey!

Countin' down the days. I've found a few new honey holes these past few years, may leave the coordinates to them in my will... lol.

The only shrooms we find down here in Texas grow in cow poop and you trip on them.
