Default Ok Turkey Guys!!

I never Turkey hunted b-4 never had anyone to get me into it and not really sure what the hell I would be doing. So my question to you guys is when you see a deer coming in to your stand and your heart is racing....Do you get the same feeling when a turkey closes the distance? Is it the same rush or is it different? I know when I spot deer that 1st intial sighting it takes my breath away I need to calm down and take deep breaths. Is chalked up to be what everyone says it is?

I usually get more excited when a turkey is coming in than a deer. But when it comes down to shoot i'm as cool as cucumber.

It can be much more of a rush if he is gobbling on the way in!!!

I'd take multiple toms gobbling their head off strutting all the way in to your decoy, over the above situation.[8D]

I'll put it this way..... if I had to choose between giving up deer hunting and giving up turkey hunting.... I'd never miss deer hunting.

I've never elk hunted before, and I think that having a 800# screaming bull elk crashing in to your set up might be more exciting, but other than that, there is nothing NOTHING more exciting than spring turkey hunting. Deer hunting puts me to sleep.

Now THAT is what I always try to say when someone asks me which I like more, you just have a better way with words.
