Dang....almost here. Turkey season in less than 40 days.

How 'bout you?....and are you going after them "bow-only"? (nothing against scatter-gunnin'.....we're just in the bowhunting forum)

47 days left until the season opens here. Going to try to make it a bow only season allyear longfor the first time..... Hopefully I will have some luck, but it will be fun either way.

I can't get excited about turkey hunting with snow still falling and making navigation almost impossible. LOL Our season doesn't open for 2 months.

I screwed up my application for this year so I will have to read all the great stories around here once the season starts. Good Luck All.

I'll be out this year as well in full force, should be in the woods every weekend from the PA opener till NY is closed. I won't be bowhunting only, as I'll be spending the majority of my season calling and getting others on birds, but you can bet that I will be putting in some time with the bow before the fat lady sings this year. I don't know if I'll top last years bow bird, but I'm going to give it heck. I've got 15 on the property this year that if they made it through the winter will all be 3+ year old birds. [8D] They are pretty dumb and unpressured as well at this time, so hopefully we can let the air out of a few of them.
