Default 3D Guys - Let's see your 08' Rigs

It's almost that time of year guys, and I've gotta say I'm really looking forward to getting outdoors this year to shoot some foam.

A few weeks ago, I was pretty convinced that I'd be shooting MBR class this year but now I'm honestly thinking I'll shoot open instead. I'll likely only shoot one event this year that isn't local (worlds) and honestly all of my peers are shooting open anyhow, so I think I'll enjoy this year more shooting open and being able to compete with/against all of them.

I've got most of the components together, but not the bow yet. Hopefully in the next week or so I'll have everythingand I'll be able to post some pics of the entire rig I plan to shoot outdoors this year.

So let's see them............what equipment and class are you going to shoot this year outdoors?

I dont have a recent picture....but here is the general idea. I won't be shooting this one too much longer I don't believe. I hope to have my new rig by my ASA "debut" at the end of April. I've kind of been "picked up", and I'm going through the finalizations, to become a staff shooter. I filled the application out today with the Regional sales rep and signed it. So it's almost complete.

Anyway, here she is.

2006 Ross 337 Competition
Alpine Whisperflight
Sure-Loc Challenger
Viper scope
Vibracheck Carbon stab
STS

Since then I've changed some things.

Sure-Loc Challenger is now a Sure-Loc Supreme
Alpine rest is now a Trophy Take Spring Steel with an .08 blade.
I've added Vibracheck Vbars

It shoots good but I have some issues with it aswell. It's too dang topheavy for me. Even with the Vbars on the back. Not to mention the back wall is non existant, thats just some pet peaves for me. On my Cardiac, for a hunting bow, I could care less about being top heavy and a weak back wall, but for a target bow it matters alot.

Interesting, I feel my 334 doesn't have the most solid wall either, but I don't plan to use mine for a serious target bow, either. Who are you signing on with, or can't you disclose that as of right now?
