Default Do you practice with or without your quiver?

I'm with because I like to simulate what I'd actually be doing in the woods. Soon as I clip onthe quiver, the bow feels like a different bow. (obviously because it's heavier) Maybe it's just in my mind but I think I shoot better with the quiver on making the bow heavier making it steadier.

Quiver on! That is how I shoot in the woods so I practice with the quiver on. I also agree that it does add some weight so it does steady it some. It also helps to have your bow balanced from to back and side to side.

I do both and i used to think that with it on its more steady but after a while i took it off and then i felt more steady with it off.

I practice without my quiver because that is what I do when I get into the stand.

I practice without until about six weeks prior to season. Then I leave it on until end of season. I know many people take theirs off when getting in stand, but I keep mine on and have never had an issue with it. I seem to shoot just as well with it on then off.

I hang the quiver on a hook once in stand. I practice shooting the way i hunt, quiver off.

I'll practice both this summer as I am heading to SD for a pronghorn hunt this year. I may need to leave quiver on while hunting from the ground, so I'll need to be proficient both ways. In the past, I have noticed no change in shooting. It seems that with the quiver on, the bow feels much heavier and my bow arm gets tired quicker while practicing for extended periods.

Quiver off! I don't know why, but I cant stand shooting with it on my bow. On stand I put it in my backpack. Whos knows that few inches thinner the bow is without the quiver could get me a shot at a deer some day if im hunting in a tight spot.
