Default how much have you spent god this is a costly hoppy

ok guys two question
How much money did you spend for hunting stuff in your first two season.

And if you been hunting a long time how much in the last five season.
me i bought a rifle shotgun. some cheap camo scent calls so on my first season about a 1000s worth of stuff.
since then another 1500 bought a bow and all that stuff need for bow hunting
then this year a stand some more scents and calls which i went through two wood primos buck calls they suck by the way.

Now this comeing season my list has went up since i now know i wil hunt until i die. Heck i plan to be buried in camo .lol
I plan to spend another 2000 to 2500 for a new muzzleloader good cold weather camo bow target two ground plan a tree stand so i got two
range finder and a few extras. i just hope after another2 grand i will get something this year

lol i was talking to my dad and told him my 08 list and he asked why not just go to an outfitter
i said because it is not really doing the most of hunting
besides 2500 or more for a hunt would get me alot of stuff that i use every year

haaaaa

i couldnt even begin.

lets just put it simple...hunting and fishing is what i know and love. if im not hunting, im fishing or scouting...its pretty much ALL i do with ALL my spare/free/leisure time any chance i possibly can. big boy toys aint cheap!!!

but things will slow down as i dont have any major purchases in mind...pretty much done with toys for a while..i need a new vehicle...but i pretty much have everything i need/want at the moment...got alot in mind for later...and am always replacing stuff...but as of now im pretty set and well off...

once you aquire the major stuff, it can be very cheap...its the initial cost that gets ya...and i guess the human nature of always WANTING the latest and greatest stuff....

all my bow gear from my release, to range finder, bow etc is about 1500 bucks right there, not to mention all the different scent loks and camo gear, and warm stuff, my 30-30 my muzzleloader, tag is 70 bucks, 300 dollar climber, gas to drive 3 hours upstate than back, food and toll money, feeders, scents, so about a million bucks or so [:'(]

When I was 18 my mom march into the Hunting Club and told the members they had me addicted to bowhunting.

One of the older members looked right at her and said and I quote "It's better than being addicted to cocaine"

So my bowhunting hobby is cheaper than a cocaine habit
