Default I just bought a new bow and now feel bad

I just bought a new Diamond Rapture on Saturday. There is a picture off it on my archery teams page (17 Autumn Assassins). Well I promised my old bow to someone so they can try it out to see if they could get into it. Here is where the bad feeling comes. I was talking to my pastor today how is also an avid hunter and told him about my new purchase. He asked if I would be interested in selling my older one, and proceeded to tell me about his. He has a bow from the mid 80's, with only 1 site pin. He also has a son that is getting into archery and spends what he can to get him the newer stuff. Now I am stuck in a tight spot. Do I tell the buddy that I can't give him the bow because I want to give it to my pastor? Can you all give me some advise?

Give it to your friend. You told him you would and now you should.

Why would you do that, is your pastor more important than your friend?

You can sell him mine and then you will make me and your Pastor and the other guy happy and maybe even you happy. just kiddin, i say that if you promised it to one person then you need to keep that promise.

If you feel so bad then give your old bow to your buddy and your new bow to your pastor.

I'm betting your not feeling that bad are you.

God won't think any less of you for giving it to your friend instead of your Pastor.

I got another idea, you could give the accesories to one and the bow to the other

That's why I keep my old bows...Think your pastor would be interested in a Bear Whitetail it was new in 1975...I got a new (used) bow in 1995 or so, still using it...
