Camo has improved over the last few years. For hunting in Tree stands look for something that has a very open pattern and you will be Happy. My favorites are Predator and ASAT. If you are sitting on the ground up against a Big tree the Ultimate Camo is a great choice.

Take a look at Enigma Camo at www.enigmacamo.com

Some of the finest hunting garments on the market today. IMHO

That really depends on the area you'll be hunting in , you would want to blend in as much as possiable.
If your gonna be in a treestand most of the time , then I would suggest ultimate camo or tree bark but if your gonna be on the ground then try mossey oak forest floor pants with mossey oak break up shirt.
With so many patterens out on the market , you should be able to find something will blend in and break up your outline.
