Not freaking out now, but very mad at my Ex pro shop guy!!!
I got everything straight today. My arrow only weighed 322 gr!! I had it weighed on a digital scale. My old arrows only weighed 309 gr!!! So I spent the day getting new arrows and a new rest and paper tuning. I now shoot a 372 gr arrow @ 289 fps @ 73#. I lost some speed, but I don't care, I feel much better shooting the right size and weight arrow. I bought the Easton Axis 400's. Man, was it a bear to tune this X Force!! Once we got it tuned though, it was tight!! I changed from the Top Gun Phantom rest to QAD hd pro. Good rest. I now shoot a 100 gr tip instead of the 90 gr, but all in all, I think shooting 289 fps will be fast enough for me and I will be safe to shoot!! Thanks guys for your help!!

That is something, a few shops will do. Get you under 5 GPP and have you turning in speeds that make your head spin. Be safe, shoot heavy. 289 is still smoking fast.......

I ended up getting 24.5 " arrows and going to a 100 gr tip. I got the easton axis 400's. Gives me about a 1/2 of arrow hang over from the rest. Oh yeh, I bought the QAD Pro hunter, cool rest. Anyway, my arrows now weigh 372 gr which is certainly over the minimum for 73# pull. Thanks guys,. Only thing left to do, is take those 4' dura vanes off and put my 2" blazers on.

If I entered everything in the program correctly they should be. Like I said a tad stiff, but no big deal.
I personally would have cut them longer myself so you had something to work with incase then end up being stiff. Since you can't up your poundage any. I like to pick an arrow that is in the middle of my draw weight range for spine. That way if I have problems I can adjust the weight up or down to compensat for it. I shoot overly long arrows as well.
Remember, you can always cut a little off, but you can never add length.
If they end up being a bit stiff you could add tip weight though, or use lighter fletchings. Like feathers. This would also increase you FOC which is never a bad thing.
My opinions anyway.
Let us know how they shoot.
By the way, you said it was a pain to tune, how so? Just because the bow is so critical of form errors or was it something else?

Thanks Paul, I don't know why, the guy at Gander Mt said he had never tuned one this picky. He was really good and he needs his own shop truly. It was just a little tetious I guess, I didn't think it was bad, but he said the PSE bows are tough to tune sometimes, but once they are tuned, they are perfect. Paul what rest do you shoot?
