Default 82nd draw weight adjustment ???

When my shop guy set my draw weight on my 82nd.....he told me he only took two turns out and the DW went from 71#'s to 62#'s.

Can I take another full turn out of the bolts and be "OK"? Any way to visually tell?

Jeff, you should be able to tell if the bolt is catching plenty jusy by looking. I think I went out that much on my 101 with zero problems. I'll check

Jeff, on my 101 I backed out a touch over 3 turns to get 60# so 3 turns should be Ok since the limb bolt and adjustment are the same on the 2.

I'd say that's no problem as long as you have plenty of bolt through and it has been backed out only 2 turns. Also watch the Rubber washer and make sure it keeps at least some tension on it.

I don't know the specs on 3 turns out......but I know it's WAY better for my arm than 2

Absolute DREAM shooting this v. 2 turns out....and only a SLIGHT sight adjustment.

If it was me. I'd run it all the way tight and then come out 2.5. Once it goes TWANG you've gone a tad too far!

I was "told" my ally was about 2.5 lbs per full turn. Funny I never checked either the max or what I'm at now, having backed it off 2 turns from my max hunting poundage.

Yeah and I'm getting ready to give mine a boob job that'll rival hers', too.

She needs someone to put the governors on her speed, too
