Default Looking back on '07

Well this was my 3rd season to bow hunt...and my first to score on a buck...I missed a doe on opening morning this past year but I redeemed myself on Oct. 6th whenI nailed this guy at 9 yards...I have really gained a passion for this sport, and I love it more every day...I love learning new things about the techniques I use and the animals I hunt and I cannot tell you how much I have learned from all you guys on here...I really love bowhunting, and I like being able to share stories and suggestions with people who feel the same

Heres a pic...I know he's no monster, but he's my first...and I am definatly proud of him

Sorry about the rambling...it just seemed like kind of a slow day on here, and I felt like sharing a story

Congratulations man! Size doesn't always have to be part of it, a persons 1st to me is better then anything! Its good to have another good guy involved in bow hunting, you seem like a good person! Congrats again!!

I got my first bowkill this year and it was a good sized doe at 10 yards. I am so proud of that deer, just as if it was a huge buck. Congrats on your deer!

I shot my first deer with a bow this year, a little button buck i thought was a doe. I was so excited, you would have thought i just shot a world record. I'm already pumped for next year and hopefully i can get my first buck with a bow.

I think it's a shame that the big buck mania is causing us to defend the bucks that aren't "huge".......Dude, you SHOULD be proud of that buck!! That's a dandy, and no easy task....Congrats man, that's cool.

I agree. My first deer was a small doe. My first buck was a small buck. I'm as proud of him as anything. Shot him off the ground at 20 feet.

Be proud man thats a great buck
