Default RE: Turkey in the head!!

From my experience it is/would be a lot eaiser to hit a tom in the head compaired to a hen.

I tried to head shoot a hen this past fall... Their heads never stop moving!!!!!!!!!!

The entire time I am trying to aim, I keep thinking that she is talking to her friends with attitude.

A tom when he is trying to impress keeps his head still for awhile.

I don't see merisking it. Too much can go wrong to take that chance. If I do manage to get to full draw on a turkey, I don't want to blow it bytaking a risky shot. I'd go for the vitals.

I wouldn't try it with a bow but if you feel coifident enough that you can do itthen do it.
