Default Adventures of Fred Bear, A must read...

I'm in the middle of reading this book, The adventures of Fred Bear, has anyone read it before! Its a great book, some of the places he got to hunt just blows my mind! I love the fact that these are his field notes! Talk about a field journal!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else read any books on Bowhunting??? Are there any other must read books??

I've read the Book:

I Remember Papa Bear: The Untold Story of the Legendary Fred Bear Including His Secrets of Hunting )

It was a very, very good read.

Bob, this will most likely be the next book I read, after I finish Fred's field notes! I can't believe I haven't read these books yet, kinda disappointed in my self![8D]

I got to check that one out BHF. Another excellent book is the Traditional Pope And Young Record Book. There are some great story's and advice in this one, I'm currently reading it now.

I thought Hunting the Hardway was a much better book that Fred Bear's Field Notes.

Another neat little book was The Witchery of Archery....

I absolutely love the more modern: Longbows in the Far North, Longbow Country, and A Thousand Campfires...... Those are well worth the price!
