Default Too early to look ahead?

Vacation scheduling and such has me looking at my days off for next season. Between Oct 1 & Nov 30 I will have 25 full days off to hunt(Counting weekends). 14 of which will be during the span of Oct 24-Nov 16th.

A small trade off that goes along with that is that I will probably not get many evenings after work like I usually do. Maybe a couple real early. I think it is worth it though, it was stressful to deal with traffic and long days this past season, just to hunt not real prime locations. So I guess its a little more quality over quantity thing as well.

It's never too early Rybo. Justin and I have been discussing our hunting vacation days already as well. We always try to base them after that darn full moon..

It will take me a good 2 months from now to finally get down the dates. Have to check with the wife..[&:]

What he said. We pretty much know which weekends we're going to be off already and November is 9 months away. Its never too early to start planning this stuff out, especially when you have to plan in conjunction with others, and get clearance from the tower first.

And remember, extra flowers on V-Day now pays dividends when that cold front moves in on November 8th and you want to sneak out a few days before you had planned.

I've already scheduled 5 days off in November. Since I won't be hunting elsewhere except perhaps a few weekend hunts to Shawnee, I can hunt every evening through the week due to working 3rd shift all of the time now. I can even hunt mornings if I feel like it after work.

I'm already scheduled off for the first two weeks of Nov. The first week for PA, the second week for IL.
