Default I may have a problem

I just looked at my bow and noticed that one of the string silencers is missing...Im assuming is came off during one of the past few times I went out to shoot

Is this something that just happens? Could something be wrong with my string?

Maybe it wasn't put on properly in the first place???

Has this ever happened to you?

The rubber just wears through after enough shots. Put it on the bow press and stick a new one in there. No worries.

Thats kinda whatI figured, but it just worried me I noticed it was just gone

If you notice in the picture...the bottom one (the one that is gone now) seems to be going perpendicular to the cables...unlike the top one which is going pararllel...I've heard that when they are perpendicular they can hit the cable when you shoot and it will knock them off alot faster than a parallel one would...This is why I threw in the comment about it not being installed properly
